Swindon & Wilts Residents Association: Public Outreach To Oppose 5G Mast In St. Michael's Church, Highworth

On 15th August 2025, members of Swindon & Wiltshire Residents Association performed a public outreach in Highworth to oppose an application for a 5G mast inside the spire of St. Michael's & All Angels Church.
We dropped 100 leaflets to residents and contacted the church committee.
The decision making process took two months; a long time for these types of applications. However, due to lack of objections from the public, planning was approved in October 2025. This despite contacting the church committee and the recent ruling by a High Court Judge in the Cheltenham Council case.
The battle against this installation is not over, Swindon & Wiltshire Residents Association will continue to fight for the residents and parishioners of Highworth.

Wirral Residents Association - Opposing Plans For Massive Solar Farm In Thurstaston

On 10th January 2026, Wirral Residents Association performed a public outreach to raise awareness about the new solar farm application being proposed in the Wirral.
